So You Want to... Definitions

Photographer- One who uses a still camera and editing with a detailed eye to capture and print images for business (as in fashion, advertising and artistic businesses).

Flight Attendant- A person responsible for the comfort and safety of passengers on an airplane during flights to different cities, countries and/or continents around the world.

Lawyer- A qualified professional advisor on legal matters who can represent clients in court or outside of court.

Judge- A lead official who presides over a court of law, either alone or as part of a panel of judges.

Politician- An individual who is involved in influencing public decision making through the influence of politics or a person who influences the way a society is governed.

Forensic Scientist- A person specializing in the application of scientific knowledge and techniques, especially medical, ballistics, physics, and legal matters to use in the investigation of crime.

Mortician- A funeral director or undertaker who takes care of all the arrangements for a funeral.

Chef- A skilled Cook who manages the kitchen of a restaurant or business.

Baker- An individual that bakes bread, cakes, or pastries, especially commercially.

Artist- One who deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture, and paintings.

Writer- Someone who writes (books, stories, articles, scripts or the like) professionally (for pay).

Find Your Purpose- Hear ways to find purpose within yourself, gain hope, vision and direction spiritually from our motivating speakers.

Decide on a Career- Need help finding the career for you? Hear different options to narrow down your choices.

Doctor- Someone who practices medicine, and is concerned with maintaining or restoring human health through the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disease and injury.

Medical Professional- A person who delivers proper health care in a systematic way professionally to any individual in need of health care services.

Computer Tech- An engineer, analyst or developer who creates software programs, hardware, mechanisms, or security for computers.

Fashion Designer- The applied art dedicated to clothing and lifestyle accessories inspired by cultural and social influences created for wear or artistic expression.

Veterinarian- A person that is skilled in diseases and care of animals.

Groomer- A trained teacher of animal responses to specific conditions or stimuli. Training may be for the purpose of companionship, detection, protection, entertainment or all of the above.
