Baltimore, Maryland - Universal Impact, LLC in conjunction with A Step Closer Foundation, Inc.* proudly announce the addition of celebrity model Yoanna House to the action-packed She Matters Girls’ Empowerment Conference & Expo on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at New Town High School in Owings Mills, Maryland. Ms. House will coordinate and narrate “The Look For Less” Fashion show for the event, answer questions about the fashion industry, and sign autographs for conference participants.
The conference Comedy show will feature Ty-Rone’s World, a hilarious comedian/ventriloquist, who has thrilled packed audiences across the country.

The mission of the conference is to empower every girl (between the ages of 9–17) to embrace life, pursue her dreams and fulfill her destiny. Our goals are to enlighten, educate and entertain through workshops, vendor/exhibitors, performances and a day full of networking and fun.
