1. When and Where is the conference?
Saturday May 17, 2008 at New Town High School 4931 New Town Boulevard in Owings Mills, Maryland from 10am to 6pm.
2. What is the She Matters Mission?
To inspire, cater to and showcase female accomplishments.
3. Can I register for the conference online?
Yes, registration on line is preferred. Payment must accompany the registration form to register for the conference.
4. How long does it take to receive a registration confirmation?
When you register online you will receive a confirmation within 24 hours to the email address you provided. Allow 2 weeks for confirmation of registrations sent by mail.
5. How long does it take to receive workshop and show confirmations?
Please allow 2 weeks for processing
6. What is the registration fee for girls/attendees?
$25 prior to March 30, 2008. $35 beginning March 30, 2008.
Limited scholarships are available for girls who demonstrate financial need. Please email registrationcommittee@shematterstoo.com for application information.
7. What is the registration fee for adults?
$25 prior to March 30, 2008. $35 beginning March 30, 2008.
8. What can adults do while girls are in workshops?
There will be workshops and an expo area available for adults.
9. What are the payment options/accepted forms of payment?
We accept all online payments through Pay Pal. Cashier's and corporate checks can be mailed; please allow 2 weeks for processing. There is a $35 returned check fee. Cash will be accepted at our on site registration on the day of the event, only if space is available. No personal checks will be accepted.

Casual and comfortable
11. Will on-site registration be available?
Only if space is available on the day of the event, but we expect the conference to sell out, so get your tickets today!!
12. How do I find out where my sessions are located?
The locations of all conference sessions will be listed in the conference program and will be provided at check-in on the day of the conference.
13. What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be provided.
14. Who is invited?
Girls ages 9-17, along with their parents, friends, teachers, coaches, mentors, etc.
15. Are girls under age 9 welcome?
Yes, younger girls are welcome to attend, but they must pay the registration fee. Children 3 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Those that are admitted free are not authorized to attend any of the workshops or shows.
16. Where do we stay?
Those requiring overnight accommodations are welcome to make reservations at Amerisuites, located in Owings Mills, MD and just minutes from the conference site.
17. What are travel options to the conference?
Automobile (click here for directions), MTA subway (Owings Mills station). Please see the MTA web site at www.mtamaryland.com for details. If you require shuttle service from the Owings Mills subway station, please email info@shematterstoo.com for additional information.
18. Is Parking Available?
Yes on the New Town High lots; street parking is also available.

2009 National Conference for girls across the country and an Awards Show honoring female accomplishments.
23. Who is organizing the She Matters Conference?
Universal Impact, LLC in conjunction with A Step Closer Foundation, Inc.. A portion of the proceeds will benefit children involved in the child welfare system.
