1. When and Where is the conference?

Saturday May 14, 2011 at 4 H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland from 9am to 4:30pm.

3. Can I register for the conference online?

Yes, registration on line is preferred. Payment must accompany the registration form to register for the conference.

4. How long does it take to receive a registration confirmation?

When you register online you will receive a confirmation within 24 hours to the email address you provided. Allow 2 weeks for confirmation of registrations sent by mail.

5. How long does it take to receive workshop and show confirmations?

Please allow 2 weeks for processing

6. What is the registration fee for girls/attendees?

$30 until March 14, 2011. $35 beginning March 15, 2011.
Limited scholarships are available for girls who demonstrate financial need. Please email registrationcommittee@shematterstoo.com for application information.

7. What is the registration fee for adults?

$30 until March 14, 2011. $35 beginning March 15, 2011.

8. What can adults do while girls are in workshops?

There will be workshops and an expo area available for adults.

9. What are the payment options/accepted forms of payment?

We accept online payments. Cashier's and corporate checks can be mailed; please allow 2 weeks for processing. There is a $35 returned check fee. Cash will be accepted at our on site registration on the day of the event, only if space is available. No personal checks will be accepted.

10. What is the dress code?

Casual and comfortable.

11. Will on-site registration be available?

Only if space is available on the day of the event, but we expect the conference to sell out, so get your tickets today!!

12. How do I find out where my sessions are located?

The locations of all conference sessions will be provided at check-in on the day of the conference. The conference schedule will be provided in advance.

13. What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be provided.

14. Who is invited?

Girls ages 9-17, along with their parents, friends, teachers, coaches, mentors, etc.

15. Are girls under age 9 welcome?

Yes, younger girls are welcome to attend, but they must pay the registration fee. Children 3 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Those that are admitted free are not authorized to attend any of the workshops or shows.

4 H Conference Ctr has hotel rooms. Book early to hold your space!
